What the app processes
Photo2Video Archive reads the photos you select from your Photos library, analyses them on the device to build review stacks, encodes them into an archive video, and saves that video back into Photos. The archive package with the original files, the manifest and the encoded video is stored in the app's own documents folder on your device.
The app has no account and collects no personal information of its own.
Paid download and version transition
Paid download, with no subscription. Apple handles payment; we do not receive your card details.
Older versions with advertising
Earlier builds may use Google AdMob for advertising. That provider may process advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from IP addresses and usage signals. This legacy activity is separate from the on-device photo workflows. Version 1.1.4 and later contain no advertising.
Photo processing and iCloud
We do not upload your photos, screenshots or recognised text to our servers. Apple Photos and iCloud may transfer files according to your settings. Keep a separate backup before deleting anything important.
Photos access
The app asks for Photos access to read the photos you choose, to save the archive video, to restore frames, and to delete originals after you confirm. Deletion always runs through the system Photos sheet, and deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for thirty days. Limited access is supported.
The app lists only photos stored on the device; it does not download originals from iCloud.
Your control
Change or revoke Photos access in Settings. Keep or delete originals at each archive; restore frames at any time. Deleting the app deletes its archive packages; archive videos already in Photos remain.
